Product Information

Using this waterless, wax-based balm is like strength-training for the skin. A strong skin barrier is essential for keeping moisture inside the skin and keeping unwanted microorganisms out.

The skin’s microbiome, as a home to trillions of bacteria, viruses, and fungi, also help our skin stay healthy by fighting infection and inflammation. The ingredients in Resiliu Skin Barrier Balm play a supporting role in the integrity of the microbiome and barrier.

Usage:

Smooth a small amount of the Resiliu Skin Barrier Balm over eyes, face, lips, neck and decolleté to strengthen and protect the skin barrier day or night.

This waterless balm will feel like a protective cushion for your face. You can use a moisturizer first, if you like, and then follow with the Resiliu Barrier Balm. Or you can just replace your evening moisturizer with the balm.

Ingredients:

Moringa seed oil and butter are rich in omega fatty acids, specifically oleic acid, and antioxidants. Sometimes called “The Miracle Tree”, Moringa oleifera’s leaves alone contain

  • seven times the vitamin C of oranges,
  • four times the vitamin A of carrots,
  • four times the calcium of milk,
  • more iron than spinach,
  • three times the potassium of bananas,
  • and twice the protein of yogurt.2,3
  • The seed oil also has the highest stability of any vegetable oil produced, giving it a long shelf life with a lightweight feel on the skin as it’s massage in.

The Resiliu Skin Barrier Balm contains phytosterols from plants which have the same purpose as cholesterol in human skin--to repair the barrier function by stabilizing cell membranes, regulating fluid balance and permeability.

Rice starch in the formula acts as prebiotic food for the microbiome of the skin, helping to feed the beneficial bacteria that have a protective function for the skin. Thanks to its rice proteins, rice starch has also been shown to work well for hypersensitive skin, providing redness relief.
